“The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.” – Robert Swan

Welcome, Readers:

Today is March 4th, 2025—a date that reminds us to March Forth with purpose and resolve. Let’s use this moment to recommit ourselves to protecting our children’s future and fortifying the pillars of Democracy that are essential for lasting change.

Before we go any further, I encourage you to review my previous blog post outlining the recent policy change for Climate Tribe’s Free Access zone—especially regarding the cCc Nudge space. Due to a rise in harassment and two deeply concerning physical incidents that jeopardized my safety, I’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to tighten our guidelines for participation. These changes are about safeguarding the integrity and well-being of our growing community.

Introducing: Active Resistance

Today, I’m also announcing the launch of a powerful new initiative: Active Resistance, a dedicated space to protect—and now help save—our Democracy. Priced at just $9.99/year, this community hub will focus on peaceful resistance through education, networking, and collective awareness.

Active Resistance opens today, March 4th, and will serve as a place for informed dialogue and direct engagement around current events and civic action. It is, and always will be, non-violent. This space is about empowerment, not division—about building, not tearing down.

The Climate Tribe Vision: A Community Decades in the Making

The foundation of Climate Change Community LLC began in March 2017, following the creation of an earlier LLC in 2016. From the very beginning, I envisioned a constellation of child-sites—including Climate Tribe—that would work together as a larger, interconnected system.

Instead of rushing to launch and gather followers, I took a slower, more intentional path. I observed. I studied. I learned from the mistakes of others. I watched how well-meaning platforms fell victim to spam, manipulation, and cyber threats. These observations confirmed my belief: security and foresight must come before expansion.

Today, Climate Tribe operates on the Mighty Network platform. Its parent site, Climate Change Community, lives on WordPress and functions as a trust-based network. Every member goes through a video interview before being accepted. This ensures we’re building something real and resilient—one thoughtful, committed person at a time.

Why I Remain Private—and Why That Matters

Many have asked why I don’t show my face online. The answer is not rooted in vanity or secrecy but in lived experience. Between 2017 and 2018, I was stalked in lower Manhattan, and even while traveling through the South of France, I was persistently followed.

These weren’t isolated incidents. I’ve seen the reach and sophistication of what I call the “morality police”—surveillance tactics deployed not by law enforcement, but by ideological extremists acting on behalf of corporate and religious powers determined to maintain the status quo.

This is not fearmongering—it’s reality. And it’s why I remain vigilant and anonymous. I do it to protect myself, yes, but more importantly, to protect the mission. Our focus must remain on Adaptive Resiliency, from the standpoint of both self and collective preservation, not on personalities or performative activism.

Inside Climate Tribe: What We Offer

Climate Tribe currently features over 80 unique mini-communities, each aligned with a specific passion or area of focus. These spaces will soon be listed and categorized on eXit235.com for easier access and exploration.

Some communities focus on climate-related topics like insect populations, ocean health, and regenerative gardening. Others are designed for people in specific professions—such as infrastructure workers, first responders, law enforcement, teachers, nurses, and more.

No matter your background, there’s a place where your voice can be heard, your skills can be used, and your experiences can guide others.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
Margaret Mead

The Basic Plan gives you full access to:

  • Self-Preservation Space

Self-Preservation Space

(Formerly known as Adaptive Resiliency)

This space focuses on ethical, strategic, and AI-enhanced pathways to adapt to our changing world. Climate impacts are intensifying, and survival will depend not just on knowledge, but on values-driven action.

The space features:

  • AI-supported networking and messaging

  • Public and private discussions

  • A real-time timeline and feedback system

Here, you’ll learn how Adaptive Resiliency, from the standpoint of both self and collective preservation, can guide decision-making in uncertain times.

“The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
Peter Drucker

Green Tech Café

As a retired IT technician, I created this space to bridge the gap between digital security, sustainable tech, and Climate Justice. The Green Tech Café is home to:

  • Privacy tutorials and cybersecurity updates

  • Forums for tech professionals and climate advocates

  • Circular tech initiatives (e.g., repurposing devices to reduce e-waste)

In time, I hope to invite ethical hackers and digital privacy experts to join this space and share their knowledge.

“The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious.”
John Sculley

The Book Club

Here, members are empowered to lead their own reading circles and intellectual salons. Whether you’re new to climate literature or a seasoned researcher, this space encourages lifelong learning.

We’re starting with two essential books:

  • There Is Still Time by Peter Seidel

  • Just Listen by Mark Goulston

Both offer valuable insight into systems thinking, communication, and ethical leadership—skills we all need now more than ever.

“A room without books is like a body without a soul.”
Marcus Tullius Cicero

What’s Next? A Community Rooted in Care

One of our long-term goals is to offer direct financial assistance—starting with $1,000 grants—to members affected by the Climate and Ecological (Green) Emergency. As our community grows, this becomes not just a dream, but a promise.

The vision is bold, but it’s grounded in compassion.

Final Thoughts: Your Invitation to Join

I created Climate Tribe to be more than just a digital forum. It’s a call to action. It’s a sanctuary. It’s a movement. We’re not just reacting to the Climate and Ecological (Green) Emergency—we’re responding with integrity, intelligence, and intention.

I invite you to explore our plans, join a discussion, or simply browse our blog and About pages. And if you’re ready, subscribe to the Basic Plan—it’s the gateway to deeper conversations, real-time learning, and meaningful change.

“We have the tools. We have the knowledge. Now, we must find the courage to use them wisely.”
